Not only has the appearance changed, but much more information about what we offer and how we can assist you and intends to better connect with our prospects and customers. While we've refined the design, we've also made sure that navigation is easy: and provide all necessary tools and information in a concise and accessible manner. Our ambition is to help our members and visitors quickly and easily make sense of the features available on our website and connecting them.

ICD-10 Career Opportunities
Healthcare jobs and spending are one of the few things that have not only escaped the wrath of the slowing economy and dim projections but are also projected to show an upward trend in the coming years. With transition to ICD-10 imminent, the prospects for healthcare professionals with knowledge and expertise of ICD-10 are going to be exceptional. Many healthcare organizations are still in the initial stage of understanding, how to get started on the ICD-10 initiative. As per HIMSS, detailed findings from its latest HIPAA 5010, ICD-10 Readiness Survey that determined only 9 percent of providers have formally begun their ICD-10 projects and also found that “access to qualified and knowledgeable staff is the most critical concern.” [...]
ICD-10 is an opportunity as well as a challenge for everybody, more so for novice coders. One should make sure to learn and understand anatomy and physiology in detail for correct ICD-10-PCS coding.
ICD-10-PCS Coding:
The fourth character of the ICD-10-PCS code defines the body part, or specific anatomical site where the procedure was performed.
The body system (second character) provides only a general indication of the procedure site. The body part and body system values together provide a precise description of the procedure site. Examples of body parts are KIDNEY, TONSILS, and THYMUS.
